City of Kent residents can apply for all Concealed Pistol Licenses (CPL) both in-person and online.

Fingerprint Appointment

Applying for an Original Concealed Pistol License? Make a fingerprint appointment first.

For an original CPL, you must call our Records Unit at 253-856-5800 to make a fingerprinting appointment before you submit your application. Currently, we have limited hours and appointments on a first-come, first-serve basis.

After you have scheduled an appointment, please complete the steps below for filling out and paying for an application. We recommend that you complete the application and payment at your earliest convenience.  Both are due prior to your fingerprinting appointment and failure to complete either one could result in your appointment being forfeited.
