Second Public Hearing on the 2025-2026 Biennial Budget, Including the Identified Priorities for Use of Opioid Settlement Funds

  • Second Public Hearing on the 2025–2030 Capital Improvement Program
  • Public Hearing on the 2024 Tax Levy for the 2025 Budget

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kent City Council will hold public hearings on Tuesday October 15, 2024, at 7 p.m. to consider the: 2025-2026 Biennial Budget, including the priorities identified for use of opioid settlement funds; the 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Program; and the 2024 Tax Levy for the 2025 Budget.

 If you wish to present testimony in person, please sign up with the City Clerk during the meeting. Written public testimony may be submitted in advance of the meeting by regular U.S. Mail to the City Clerk’s Office, 220 Fourth Avenue South, Kent, WA 98032, or by electronic mail to Cityclerk@kentwa.gov. Any advanced written testimony must be received no later than 4 p.m. on October 15, 2024, in order to be considered.

 For further information on the 2025-2026 Biennial Budget, the 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Program, or the 2024 Tax Levy for the 2025 Budget, contact the City of Kent Finance Department at 253-856-5264.
