Introduction: Community invited to learn more about the four candidates vying to be Kent’s next mayor.

Elizabeth Albertson, Jim Berrios, Dana Ralph and Andrew Swansen have confirmed their participation. Kent Mayor Suzette Cooke opted not to run for reelection this November.

The moderated forum will be a question-and-answer style information session and focus on issues that impact immigrants and refugees, people of color, individuals with disabilities and the LGBTQ community.

Questions for candidates will also be accepted in writing from audience members during the event.

KentTV21 will videotape the event and broadcast the forum on Comcast Cable Channel 21 starting July 5 – Aug. 1 at both 4 a.m. and p.m. The forum will also be available online at KentTV21.com during the same timeframe.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive by 6:45 p.m., with the candidate forum beginning promptly at 7 p.m.
