Spring Clean-up Event

On your yard-waste collection day ONLY

  • Date: 04/03/2017  (all day)
  • Introduction: Place up to ten 32 gallon containers of yard waste, and up to an equal amount of garbage at your curb at no additional cost!

With Kent’s annual “Spring Clean-up” program, residents may rid themselves of extra yard waste and garbage (Not including construction, demolition debris, rocks, concrete, bricks or asphalt.)

The event is free to all residential households in Kent with garbage service. Place any extra garbage and yard waste with your usual curbside collection on your regular yard waste pick-up day that occurs within April 3-14, 2017. Call Republic Services at 206-682-9735 if you're not sure when your normal yard waste pickup day is.

If your refuse isn't picked-up, call Republic Services at 206-682-9735 on the following weekday to notify them of missed collection. Note: Extra items placed out at curb and collected other than during this event will be charged as extra garbage and/or yard waste.
