KENT, Wash. – December 22, 2010 – Kent Police have arrested a suspect believed to be involved in the Halloween night murder of an 18 year old Kent man. Devon Topps was shot outside an east Kent home while leaving a private Halloween party near on October 31st of this year.

Two October Volunteer Events Offer ReLeaf and Chance to Make a Difference

September 26, 2011 – Two of Kent Parks’ most popular annual volunteer events are ReLeaf at Clark Lake Park on October 8 and Make a Difference Day, a national observance, on October 22. Both Saturday morning events run from 9 a.m. to noon, rain or shine. Tools and gloves are supplied, but extra shovels or pruners are always appreciated. Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes or boots (no flip-flops or sandals allowed) and dress for the weather. April 22, 2013 – The Kent Police have arrested and charged a local man for robbing two persons after setting up separate dates via an on-line dating service. The arrest came last Thursday evening when detectives conducting surveillance at the suspects’ home confirmed his presence inside his East Kent apartment, then took him into custody as he left the residence.
