Downtown Kent has several appealing parks near Kent Station and the adjacent railroad. Residents and visitors alike can find a place to relax and enjoy the unique character of the "Railroad parks." You can also blow off some steam at the outdoor basketball court, skate park, or ball fields, between James and Meeker Streets along the Interurban Trail.
Reserve a Picnic Shelter
Covered picnic shelters can be reserved for a fee at 10 park locations, for private events such as birthday or graduation parties, weddings and receptions, family reunions, company picnics, and cook-outs or barbecue's.

Athletic Facility Rentals
Fields are available to rent for softball, baseball, and soccer. Some may be reserved for league or tournament use. Check out each facility to see amenities and options available.
Reserve an Athletic Field
Kent offers year-round programming for most ages and abilities at our indoor facilities. Rooms and space can also be rented for community events, conferences, workshops, celebrations, and more. Welcome!
