Ordinances and resolutions adopted by the Kent City Council on October 20, 2015
RESOLUTION NO. 1916 - A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Kent,
Washington, in support of the efforts of the Kent Downtown Partnership to bring Washington State's Main Street Program "2016 RevitalizeWA Conference" to Kent.
RESOLUTION NO. 1917 - A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Kent, Washington, expressing support for the King County "Best Starts for Kids" levy, Proposition No. 1 - Regular Property Tax Levy for Children, Youth, Families, and Communities.
These resolutions shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
ORDINANCE NO. 4171 - AN ORDINANCE of the City Council of the City of Kent,
Washington making housekeeping edits to clarify inconsistencies in the Zoning Districts Map designations related to the amendment to the City of Kent Comprehensive Plan in compliance with the requirements of the Growth Management Act (CPA-2011-3/CPZ-2011-1).
This ordinance will take effect five days from the date of passage and publication, unless subjected to referendum or vetoed by the Mayor, or unless otherwise noted.
ORDINANCE NO. 4172 - AN ORDINANCE of the City Council of the City of Kent, Washington amending Title 12 of the Kent City Code by adding a new Chapter 12.20, “Adoption and Administration of Impact Fees,” establishing a process for adoption of new impact fee ordinances imposed on development activity to help finance system improvements to public facilities; requiring a public hearing prior to adoption of any ordinance establishing impact fees for a new category of public facility; adopting a system for limited deferrals of collection of impact fees imposed on single-family residential construction; and authorizing the collection of reasonable administrative fees to help fund the cost of maintaining the impact fee deferral program.
This ordinance will take effect thirty days from the date of
passage and publication, unless subjected to referendum or vetoed by the Mayor,
or unless otherwise noted.
