Getting started

Single-family curbside recycling service is provided to Kent residents as part of their garbage service and is available at no additional fee. Recyclable materials are collected every other week. Residents combine recyclables into a 32- 64 or 96-gallon cart provided by Allied Waste. All materials are collected in the same cart – including glass.  No sorting needed! For a complete list of what's accepted in the residential recycling program and how those materials must be prepared and separated, please review Allied Waste's brochure.

To sign up for residential curbside collection of recyclables, call Allied Waste at 206-682-9735.
