As a 28-year resident of Kent, Bill Boyce has a long standing commitment to our city. His desire for Kent to be a safe, productive, and fun place to live and work prompted him run for a seat on the City Council. From athletic and cultural programs to public safety and support for small business, Bill is committed making our community a better place, while being fiscally responsible and living within our means.

Bill is serving his first term and is chair of the Public Safety committee. He is also a member of the Economic and Community Development committee and the Regional Fire Authority Commission.

Bill leads by example as evidenced by his extensive community service.  He has served 16 years on the Kent School District Board of Directors, with four terms as Board President. Bill is also Past President and charter member of Kent Sunrise Rotary Club and currently serves as Criminal Justice Training Center Commissioner, a position he has held for 13 years.

Bill has enjoyed volunteering as a coach for both baseball and basketball and as co-chair of school district levy and bond committee.

 

Bill is currently serving on Economic and Community Development Committe. He also chairs the Public Safety Committee.

Bill holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business from City University.  He has worked for The Boeing Company for 23 years and currently works as a manager in Human Resources.  

 

Bill and his wife, Debbie, live in the Meridian neighborhood. They enjoy spending time together with their children; all five are graduates of Kent School District.

City Council

The seven-member City Council is the legislative forum for the City of Kent. The Council is responsible for approving financial expenditures and adopting the city budget as well as establishing policies and regulations in order to guide Kent’s future.
