Morrill Meadows Off-Leash Dog Area

Morrill Meadows Off-leash Dog Park Grand Opening Grand Opening, October 2010

10808 SE 248th St.

Parking is available at nearby Morrill Meadows Park.  Amenities at this popular dog park include a separately fenced area for small or shy dogs, water, benches, and an obstacle course.

Kent's first off-leash dog park was built through a collaboration between the City of Kent and community volunteer group DOGPARK: Dog Owners' Group Promoting Animal Recreation in Kent. The group raised funds to help off-set the cost and helped clear the area of invasive and overgrown vegetation, and volunteers planted 500 native trees and shrubs.  Similar to Grandview Off-leash Area on the west hill, maintenance and future amenities will be accomplished through the combined efforts of City staff and DOGPARK.
