The City supports this new service:

This new service is part of the Transit Now Initiative passed by voters on November 7, 2006.  Route 913 is a Transit Now Service Partnership.  Service partnerships allow individual cities to enter into financial partnerships with the County to initiate new transit service.

This route furthers the City’s goals of providing multi-modal transportation opportunities to all sections of our City and helps provide congestion relief.
