We share your excitement for the 4th of July!

We are working on another festive line up of music and entertainment on the Fourth of July!  Join your family and friends for a full day of fun and relaxation on the shores of Lake Meridian.

Free Shuttle Bus and Parking Locations

Shuttle buses run approximately every 20 minutes from parking areas to Lake Meridian.

  • Kent Fire Station #75, 15635 SE 272nd St.
  • Kentwood High School, 25800 164th SE
  • Meridian Elementary, 25621 140th Ave SE

Parking at Lake Meridian is by permit only. Follow Event Parking signs to the shuttle parking lots.

Juggling instructions by Greg Bennick!

Splash emcee, Greg Bennick introduced many future jugglers the art of juggling.  Greg has put together and easy to follow step by step progession on how to become an expert juggler.  If you want to impress friends and family at your next party or family gathering, click here and be ready to have some fun!

Fireworks Finale

Presented by the Lake Meridian Community Association and Kent Parks, Recreation and Community Services

Community Showcase - Performers!

The Fourth of July Splash is pleased to present the Community Showcase.  This is an opportunity for local performers to play on the Splash stage in front of an audience from your town.  Stage time is 30-45 minutes and includes a professional sound tech.  You bring your own instruments and be ready to do your thing for over 5,000 people.

                                        Indie Pop band that will make you dance

                                        Alt country from Seattle! 

 

8:00 – 9:30 p.m.          LeRoy Bell 

                                        One of the most talented musicians in the Northwest! 

 

Food Vendors

The Fourth of July Splash is seeking food vendors to be a part of the 2014 event.  Applicants must meet King County Department of Health standards, fiscal responsibiltiy, technical feasibility, booth presentation and price.  Applications are available now.
