The city of Kent has recently completed a contract for 58 Multi-Function Devices (MFD’s), maintenance and repairs.  The Information Technology Department intends to replace the City’s MFD fleet with a fleet of Multi-Function Devices that act as scanners, copiers, printers, fax machines, and departmental or workgroup document servers.  This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued to identify Proposers who meet the City’s qualifications and pricing parameters for a minimum 3-year lease agreement for a new MFD Fleet for the City.  The city of Kent seeks to select a single contract with one Proposer under which all MFD’s and print management software are supported by that Proposer.  Support includes implementation management, advice, replacement of toner cartridges, repair, maintenance, and provision of new machines, management information and continuous improvement.
