Works by students of Cornish College of the Arts explore site through works/acts of intervention.  These site specific works are located throughout Clark Lake Park and vary from performance and sound works to installations.

Kent Cornucopia Days Fun Run/Walk

This is the perfect race for beginning runners and those who want to lay down a fast time.  The race takes place at Three Friends Fishing Hole, located in the northern part of the Kent Valley.  The course is certified and now CHIP TIMED by BuDu Racing.

NEW! Give Me Culture Grant Overview

The City of Kent Arts Commission’s “Give Me Culture” program offers small, flexible grants to individuals, organizations and community groups for arts and culture projects and events that serve the general public in Kent. Awards are intended to broaden participation in, and showcasing of, arts and culture activities, especially by ethnically diverse or underserved communities.

• $1,000 award maximum
• No deadline: Applications will be reviewed as they are received, year-round (must be received at least two months before the start of the project or event date)

Kent Kids' Arts Day

Celebrating 27 years on Saturday, March 1st at the Kent Commons.  Over 15 different hands-on art projects lead by professional artists.  Stage entertainment by students from the Kent School District and a full day of doing art makes Kent Kids' Arts Day and experience for the entire family.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Community Arts Support Program

The City of Kent Arts Commission’s Community Arts Support Program provides financial support for arts projects by arts and cultural organizations, community service groups and individual artists. The program is designed to encourage, develop and support community arts programming that serves the general public in the Kent area.
