Green Kent Work Party at Clark Lake Park

Description: Are you great at weeding? Do you have a passion for blackberries? We are working to maintain an area that has already been cleared and mulched, but those weeds are tenacious. Come get some exercise and help us remove those pesky weeds.

Description: For their first work party, new Stewards Mark and Christy are targeting a blanket of yellow archangel in a shady nook of Morrill Meadows Park. Come help them get started!

National Public Lands Day in Kent
Location: Lake Fenwick Park

Description: The east ridge trail at Lake Fenwick Park has some of the most spectacular views in the city. We'll spend the morning pruning back the trail and giving invasive weeds the heave-ho.

Description: If you were part of ReLeaf 2013, guess what? We're returning to the same area, a grove west of the dock. Some of the blackberries and reedcanary grass came back and we're going to be sure they don't this time!
