Access to Recreation Initiative
The city of Kent and the Kent Parks Foundation have partnered to increase the number of sliding scale scholarships we can offer for qualifying Kent families and youth seeking to participate in City recreation programs.
The goal of this initiative is to unite partners that agree and share a vision to reduce the financial barrier to participation that some of our neighbors have to deal with. A donation of any size can make a difference, especially to a kid who really wants to participate in a program.
The flyer gives you more details about local businesses and individuals that have already signed on as donors. If you have questions, feel free to call 253-856-5110 or the Kent Parks Foundation at 253-856-5099.
