Green River District
The Green River District consists of the Lakes, and Riverview Neighborhood Councils. Includes the areas to the west and south of Hwy 167, to the west of the city border, along Russell Road and 228th St. now also known as Veterans Drive.
Communication is just starting within the district to form a district board, establish bylaws, work on future district goals and plans, and file as a non-profit. If you are interested in taking a lead role in establishing this district email Toni Azzola, Neighborhood Program Coordinator.

The Riverview Park side channel is located at the end of Hawley Road West just south of LA Fitness.
Our Public Works Department are working on multiple construction projects which include levee accredidation, watermain improvements, road improvements.
Kent Valley Loop Trail. The city is working on a plan to connect the Green River and Interurban Trails, creating a unique loop trail experience and making Kent a regional biking and recreation destination.
Kentview Sanitary Sewer interceptor. The Kentview Interceptor project is the construction of a new gravity sewer interceptor from the pump station to the existing sewer on S. 216th Street to divert the flow to the Frager Road pump station located near S. 212th Street.
